Engagement Manager

AITOMATIC
Palo Alto, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 6/25/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 7/23/2026
We are looking for an Engagement Engineer to serve as the primary bridge between Aitomatic and one of our most strategic enterprise partners. This is a focused, high-impact role where you will be deeply embedded in the customer relationship — understanding their industrial operations, translating their challenges into AI-powered solutions, and ensuring seamless collaboration between the customer's team and Aitomatic's internal technology organization.

This is not a generalist account management role. You will own the full engagement lifecycle for a single, high-value customer — from problem discovery and solution design through to deployment and ongoing success.

About the Role:

  • Serve as the single point of contact between the customer and Aitomatic's engineering and product teams, ensuring clear, consistent, and trust-based communication on both sides.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's industrial operations, business priorities, and AI maturity to proactively identify opportunities for impact.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into precise technical problem statements and actionable solution roadmaps for Aitomatic's internal teams.
  • Collaborate with other project managers of clients to manage roadmaps and deliverables.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution — including scope definition, milestone planning, risk management, and quality assurance — to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Act as a customer advocate within Aitomatic, ensuring product development and engineering priorities reflect real-world customer needs.
  • Equip the customer with tailored technical guidance, training, and solution walkthroughs to drive adoption and maximize business value.
  • Monitor engagement health, track key outcomes, and continuously surface insights to both the customer and internal stakeholders.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience in customer success, technical account management, or engagement management within a technology company, preferably in AI, machine learning, or industrial software.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain trust-based relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders on the customer side.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills — equally comfortable in executive briefings and hands-on technical workshops.
  • Ability to comprehend complex industrial or operational challenges and convert them into well-scoped, technically sound AI solution strategies.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, including system design, model deployment, and integration into operational environments.
  • Strong project management discipline with experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams.

Great-to-Have:

  • Experience working with large enterprise environments, particularly in industrial manufacturing, aerospace, or building technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python and common AI/ML frameworks; hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Background in fast-paced, delivery-focused technology organizations or startups.

Education:

A Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline is preferred, with a specialization in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science highly valued. Candidates holding a Bachelor's degree with substantial, relevant industry experience are equally encouraged to apply.

Why you'll love working here

  • An employee-centric culture that values the skills and abilities of our team members, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to excel in their roles and advance in their careers.
  • A collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
  • Flexible working hours
  • Attractive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
  • Generous daily lunch allowance
  • Overseas travel opportunities for training and working related, providing exposure to international projects and collaborations.
  • Fun team activities & outings
