Description: Aitkin Public Schools ISD#1 has openings for Substitute Teachers who are interested in making a differnce in a childs life and in our Aitkin community.
Summary of Duties: Carry out classroom instructions for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Rate of Pay: $140.00 per school day or $18.47 per hour.
Hours: Can vary according to the substitute opportunity. The regular School days are from 7:45 - 3:15 in Elementary and 8:00 - 3:30 High School.

- Follow provided regular lesson plans as closely as possible to ensure continued learning;
- Use appropriate classroom management techniques to facilitate learning for differenct needs of students;
- Colaborate with fellow coworkers and support staff to ensure that the highest level of learning takes place in our classrooms each and every day.
