While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; bend; stoop, crouch or crawl; kneel; talk or hear; taste or smell. Additionally, workers will be exposed to a large warehouse environment and may experience loud volumes or high/low temperatures, based on current weather. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and may be required to stand for up to 3 hours at a time.

Job Characteristics
- Installation and removal of molds from Injection Molding Machines, according to company standards
- Set up and adjust machines for production by positioning and aligning molds, connecting water, hydraulics, air feeds, and etc.
- Perform lockout procedures, purging material, removing die from machine
- Assure you are using correct tools when placing molds in machines safely
- Clean platens with mold cleaner to get all the rust off of them.
- Install mold with correct length knock out rods
- Set up auxiliary equipment that may be needed mold controllers, temp controllers
- Set up parameters according to setup sheet
- Operate machine shop equipment including milling, lathes and grinders
- Communicate with supervisors when change is complete
- Make sure machines are cleaned after the change
- Bring mold to proper area to be cleaned and inspected
- Responsible for maintaining tool change and production logs
- Disinfect your working area daily
- Other duties and responsibilities may be required and may change at any time with or without notice

- Close attention to detail in a fastpaced environment
- Written and verbal English communication skills
- Able to work independently, and also with a team to accomplish company goals
- Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to safely operate Fork truck for installations of molds and removal of molds
- Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adherence to attendance policy
- Adherence to Cell phone policy
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years prior experience as a Die Setter
- Power Industrial Truck License (1D) for forklift a plus
- Valid driver’s license a plus
