Global Communications Manager

Aitech Systems is seeking a strategic and hands-on Global Marketing Communications Manager to partner with our Director of Global Marketing in elevating our brand presence and driving customer engagement across the defense and space industries.

This role will execute integrated marketing programs with a strong focus on content creation, public relations, social media, trade shows, and events.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, skilled project manager, and creative storyteller who enjoys working in a global environment. This person will balance strategy and execution, positioning our brand as a leader in rugged embedded systems and AI-powered technologies.

Responsibilities:

Content Development & Storytelling

• Develop and execute a global content strategy that enhances discoverability through organic search and emerging large language model (LLM) search.
• Create high-quality written materials including thought leadership articles, case studies, press releases, white papers, customer success stories, executive messaging, and web copy.
• Partner with subject matter experts and engineers to translate technical concepts into engaging, audience-relevant narratives that highlight Aitech’s value and innovation in AI.
• Maintain brand voice and consistency across all materials, ensuring clarity, professionalism, and alignment with company strategy.
• Support internal communications by developing messaging frameworks, leadership communications, and global announcements that reinforce Aitech’s mission and culture.
  
  

Public Relations & Media Engagement

• Manage relationships with media, analysts, and our PR agency to secure coverage in key aerospace and defense publications spanning all mediums.
• Develop media kits, Q&A documents, and backgrounders that strengthen the company’s positioning in the market.
• Draft press materials for product launches, corporate announcements, and major milestones.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive storytelling and brand visibility.
  
  

Content Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Director of Global Marketing to align content and communication priorities with overall business goals and in conjunction with integrated marketing campaigns.
• Create and maintain templates, presentations, and collateral that help sales and business development teams engage effectively with customers and partners.
• Collaborate with client-facing teams to ensure all communications including program updates, announcements, and deliverables reflect our messaging and brand standards.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure messaging consistency and support campaign execution with strong written and visual assets.
  
  

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with the Director of Global Marketing to align marketing activities with business priorities.
• Establish content calendars, maintain an organized content repository, and manage review and approval workflows.
• Define KPIs and report on communication performance, showing measurable impact on brand awareness, engagement, and customer understanding.
• Manage agency partners, freelancers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality outputs on time and budget.
  
  

This position will report to the Global Marketing Director

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $155,000 a year.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years prior related experience in marketing and communications
• Ability to travel domestically/internationally 25% of the time.
  
  

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with WordPress and PR Newswire
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with major social platforms, such as LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and X.
• Proficient with typical Microsoft Office suite of software and SharePoint
• Familiarity with Adobe products such as Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop a plus
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
