About the Role
We are seeking a UI/UX Front-End Engineer with a strong eye for design and hands-on expertise in modern front-end development. This role will design and build intuitive, visually compelling, and responsive digital experiences while using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping, development, and validation. The ideal candidate combines user-centered design thinking with strong UI engineering skills and can optimize experiences across desktop and mobile web views. Experience developing mobile applications is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intuitive, visually engaging, and user-centered web interfaces.
- Translate business requirements, user journeys, wireframes, and design concepts into production-ready front-end experiences.
- Build responsive web applications optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile web views.
- Create reusable UI components, interaction patterns, and design-system assets that ensure consistency across applications.
- Apply strong visual-design judgment across layout, typography, color, spacing, navigation, and interaction design.
- Use Generative AI and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate design exploration, coding, workflow automation, and rapid prototyping.
- Build interactive prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas, user flows, and solution feasibility with stakeholders.
- Develop front-end applications using React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Integrate user interfaces with REST APIs, backend services, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Conduct design reviews, usability assessments, and iterative refinements based on user and stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, AI Engineers, QA teams, and backend developers throughout delivery.
- Support code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD integration, deployment readiness, and technical documentation.
- Stay current with emerging UI frameworks, design trends, AI development tools, and mobile application technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in front-end development, UI engineering, UX engineering, or related software engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in React or Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Demonstrated ability to create polished, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Strong eye for visual design, including layout, typography, color, spacing, hierarchy, and interaction patterns.
- Hands-on experience using Generative AI or AI-assisted development tools to adopt workflows, generate or refine code, and build prototypes.
- Experience with responsive design, desktop, mobile, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards, usability principles, and design-system practices.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical-documentation skills.
- Exposure to mobile application development using React Native, Flutter, Ionic, or a comparable framework is an advantage.
