Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attends the Project Managers kick off meetings to ensures a SOW is provided to shop planning, controls manufacturing identifying total content for the integration pre commissioning tasks and execution.
- Reviews the PM project timelines and provides shop feedback on capability, internal capacity to meet the schedule and milestone deadlines.
- Reviews the controls integration statement of work based on strategic sourcing, what will be released as a “turnkey build” and what will be manufactured internally (or locally outsourced). Provide that scheduling information to the BPM processing release and final assembly teams.
- Monitors controls purchased parts, both ordering requirements and delivery, 2/4/6 week look ahead. Identify specifics for material timing miss-alignment, creating shortage list for Project Manager.
- Consistent communication with electricians, assist to schedules in-house or contingent resources needed to perform the integration and pre commissioning objectives on a project-by-project basis.
- Ensures adherence to customer specifications and established supporting specific procedures.
- Attend the Manufacturing Kickoff, weekly Build Status meetings, gathering information relevant to integration planning and pre commissioning.
- Monitors and provides job status updates, manpower requirements to Manager’s and ensure that the integration team is appropriately staffed to meet both immediate and future demands.
- Conducts a shop floor Integration status meeting to ensure that work assignments are understood, tracked and the commissioning statuses are clearly communicated and documented.
- Identifies changes both internally and externally. Communicates change requests and NCRs to the Manager’s. Communicates back with Engineering issues and lessons learned, implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Assists in maintaining departmental standards, forms, work instructions, CI and procedures.
- Provided recommendations to investigate and implement any new technologies, suggest new and innovative ways to apply it.
- Five years of Controls technical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- This position may require a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

- Experienced in automation, electrical application concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics.
- Background in PLC. HMI, and motion control programming.

- Motivated with strong interpersonal skills, a proactive work ethic, excellent oral/written communication.Effectively present information, written or otherwise, to leadership.
