This is a 2nd Shift position 1:00-9:30 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years electrical experience in Industrial manufacturing
- Carry out daily instructions and assignments given by Team Leader or Supervisor
- Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance activity
- Improve equipment by carrying out corrective maintenance activity
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using test equipment and/or software provided, and apply knowledge of troubleshooting
- Work safely - following all safety instructions and standards
- Communicate all daily activity
- Inform and update work status
- Submit all paperwork at end of shift
Skills & Abilities
This position is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Candidates must have the following trouble shooting skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot using laptop to PLC
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the board level
- Ability to program a PLC
- Possess a good understanding of ladder logic
- Have experience with Omron, Mitsubishi, PLC and touch screens
- Have working knowledge of solid state control, power distribution systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and power transmission
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial production and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial production equipment
- Perform upgrades to equipment that supports improvements to safety, quality and on-time delivery
- Ability to read and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
Candidates must be able to operate basic shop tools and equipment. Experience with robotics and digital servo drives is a plus.
Qualifications
- Electrical Maintenance: 3 years
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Related work experience is required
- Basic computer skills
