Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of Machining and Assembly projects.
- Ability to develop annual and semi-annual action plans that correspond with the company initiatives.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects and reduce carbon footprints.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage engineering projects, budgets, and timelines.
- Train and mentor engineering staff on best practices in machining/assembly.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to source materials and equipment.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Submits proposals to management for consideration and allocation of funds from the department budget.
