AWTX AT Inspection Group Leader
Profile
The AT-Inspection
Group Leader is responsible for the improvement of safety, quality,
productivity, and indirect cost management of the Automatic Transmission AT-Inspection
line. The AT-Inspection Group leader will support a culture of quality,
teamwork, and continuous improvement with an emphasis on team member
development and superior quality.
Supervisory
Responsibilities
The
AT-Inspection Group Leader will have direct supervision of the AT-Inspection lines,
Team Leader and Team Members. The AT-Inspection Group Leader reports directly
to the AT-Inspection Assistant Manager.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
l Management of equipment AT-Inspection,
preventive maintenance of AT-Inspection equipment
l Management of AT-Inspection Team Members
l Management and improvement of safety,
quality, productivity and indirect material cost
l Execution of workplace rules and standard
work instructions
l AT-Inspection Team Member development and
identifying training needs
l Establish and maintain productive and
effective working relationships with AWTX Team Members and Japanese AT-Inspection
team members
Qualifications/Requirements
l High school Diploma or GED required
l College or technical school coursework
completed is a plus
l 3 or more years of experience leading a
manufacturing teams of 10 or more
l Experience in an automotive manufacturing
environment is a plus
l Experience in a cross-cultural working
environment is a plus
l Ability to travel to North Carolina from 4-6
weeks
l Ability to work on rotating shifts
