Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive yet professional relationships with the residents.
- Respond to all resident inquiries
- Inspect properties regularly and schedule necessary maintenance/repairs.
- Ensure all residents pay their carrying charges on time and maintain a ZERO balance
- Pursue residents with late or delinquent balances
- Advertise units when they become available
- Show properties to prospective residents and inform them of all available amenities.
- Qualify prospective residents using background checks and references
- Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned
- Follow all Equal Housing Opportunity guidelines, local laws, and company policies
- Shop for competitive bids for all maintenance contracts and capital projects needed at the property
- Proven working experience in property management
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Property Management or Real Estate License preferred
- Deep understanding of real estate law and leasing practices
- Up-to-date on the local real estate market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills
- Experience with property management software preferred
