The Carpenter/Concrete Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing heavy concrete work for construction and industrial services projects. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to company safety standards and protocols.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead daily field operations for the concrete crew.
- Coordinate work activities with project superintendent and project team.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and layout.
- Ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.
- Direct carpenters, finishers, and laborers during forming and placement operations.
- Conduct daily planning and coordinate material and equipment needs.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, quality control, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with concrete work and team leadership in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge and experience with carpentry for concrete forms, concrete pouring, concrete finishing, etc.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Familiarity with relevant construction software and tools.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in using construction tools, equipment, and software.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise and accurate workmanship.
- Work is primarily conducted outdoors at construction sites.
- Exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards.
- Physical demands include lifting, standing, and operating heavy machinery.
- May require flexible work hours and occasional travel.
- Physical requirements may include lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, and working in various weather conditions.
- Mental demands may include managing multiple tasks, making decisions under pressure, and handling stressful situations.
