What You'll Be Doing:
As our Equipment Replacement Sales Rep, your focus will be on following up with existing leads, generating new qualified ones, and successfully closing deals for new HVAC equipment and service agreements. This is a dynamic role where you'll work in our office and visit customers' homes to identify their heating and cooling needs, generate accurate cost estimates, write up proposals, and sell the appropriate products/services. The successful candidate will be able to follow all company policies, deliver honest service, and adapt to different customers' interests, emotions, and personalities.
Some lead generation activities include customer referrals, door hangers, and product sales presentations to Big Box associates. You'll build trust with prospective customers and help them see the value we can provide them, developing new relationships and attracting loyal new clients. Thinking strategically, you'll present tailored solutions and adjust your strategies to meet sales targets (70% closing ratio on technician-generated leads, 50% closing ratio on marketed leads, and 100% customer satisfaction). You'll complete financing paperwork, collect payments, and play your part in our continued revenue growth!

Equipment Replacement Sales Rep Requirements:
- 1 years of outside sales experience (3 years preferred)
- Proven record of sales success with a consultative, collaborative approach
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate computer and Microsoft proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent English communication (verbal & written), presentation, and negotiation skills
- Customer service mindset with strong relationship-building skills
- Disciplined work ethic with an honest, positive attitude
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including some occasional weekend hours
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, etc.) while wearing PPE
- Ability to drive and operate a passenger vehicle or forklift
- Ability to frequently move up to 50 lbs., bend, crawl, kneel, crouch, and walk
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights/in stairways, and occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding
- Preferred - Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Preferred - HVAC equipment knowledge
- Preferred - Estimating and in-home service agreement sales experience
- Preferred - Some college coursework
