A DAY IN THE LIFE OF DELIVERY DRIVER / WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
As a Warehouse Assistant, you play a vital part in helping our HVAC company operate efficiently. Your main goal is to keep inventory stocked and well-organized. With attention to detail, you handle inbound merchandise, read orders, and pull parts for jobs. In addition to working at the facility, you drive to various supply houses in Columbus to pick up and deliver materials. You also transport equipment to and from customers' homes as needed. To keep everything running smoothly, you accurately update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
With safety at the forefront of your mind, you use a forklift or pallet jack to move HVAC materials across the facility. You also ensure that the warehouse is safe and accessible for associates by keeping things tidy and well maintained. Using effective communication, you coordinate with fellow employees and report inventory issues to your supervisor in a timely manner. Contributing to the success of your team gives you a great sense of fulfillment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack (preferred - not required)
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to perform the necessary functions of the job, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

WORK SCHEDULE
