Responsibilities
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and the professionalism to clearly communicate recommendations to homeowners.
Job Duties:
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including gas/electric split systems, package units, heat pumps, floor and wall furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Inspect, repair, replace, and recommend solutions based on system needs
- Document all work performed and communicate recommendations clearly
- Follow all company quality, safety, and operational standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked company vehicle
- Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and empathy
- Attend weekly training meetings to continue developing technical skills
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of residential HVAC service experience
- EPA Certification
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read/write in English
- Own basic HVAC hand tools
- NATE Certification is a plus, but not required
