We specialize in exceptional Sales, Parts, and Service. As NMU Alumni our goal has always been to return to Marquette, we are more than excited to be back!
Airstream of Northern Michigan is looking to add an experienced RV Technician to our Marquette team!
Airstream experience is not required for this position, but strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry is a must. No prior RV Tech experience? Do not hesitate to apply.
Pay is based on experience.
Job Duties:
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on RVs, including but not limited to engine, transmission, and suspension systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in RVs, including wiring and battery systems
- Conduct HVAC repairs and maintenance to ensure proper heating and cooling in RVs
- Repair and replace tires on RVs as needed
- Perform RV body repairs, including panel work, painting, and dent removal
- Assemble, align, and maintain RV components such as awnings, slide-outs, and leveling systems
- Conduct air brake inspections and repairs on RVs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an RV technician or similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of RV systems
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their concerns
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in RVs for troubleshooting and repairs
- Experience with tire service, including mounting, balancing, and replacing tires on various types of RVs
- Proficiency in electrical systems to diagnose and repair issues in RVs
- Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
