RV Parts and Service Manager

Airstream Charlotte is opening a state-of-the-art showroom and service facility near Belmont, NC in Gaston County. We are seeking an experienced Service and Parts manager to run our temporary location in Monroe, NC and help transision into and manage the new facility when finished. Our family has over 40 years of experience in the RV business.

This position will manage the Service Department staff and oversee functions to ensure the smooth operation, profitability and success of the department. You will be expected to help develop and adapt systems as the dealership grows, as well as help maintain a positive environment for customers and staff.

Pay is commiserated on experience and skill.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing production workflow to ensure dealership makes reasonable return on investment.
• Manage and hold technicians accountable for quality and necessary duties.
• Balance productivity while ensuring customer goals are achieved.
• Maintain efficient workflow for technicians.
• Recruit, train, motivate, develop and retain qualified employees as needed.
• Set schedules for technicians and other service personnel.
• Work and build relationships with factory reps / vendors.
• Work closely with Sales Manager to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
• Submit and Track Warranty
• Dispatch work to technicians as appropriate.
• Review technicians’ work for accuracy and completeness to ensure quality control.
• Respond to all questions, problems and requests in an attentive, helpful and timely matter.
• Ensure the health and safety of employees and customers by maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Manage / Follow-up with customers regarding appointments, notifications, complaints and expectations.
• Keep up with paperwork as needed while working closely with all departments.
• Track and report efficiency / profitability.

Skills and Experience required:

• Prior RV Parts and Service experience required.
• Experience with Airstream a huge plus.
• Familiarity with Lightspeed DMS a huge plus
• Technical knowledge and experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer relation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with service tracking and scheduling software.
• Strong team building and leadership skills.
• Able to learn and problem solve on the fly.
• Willing to collaberate and be part of a team
• A strong moral compass.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
