What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative position at Airport Veterinary Clinic?
Airport Veterinary Clinic is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
Schedule and compensation:
- Compensation: $15 - 17 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a part-time position, with coverage needed in the mornings from 7:30 - 12:30 pm and availability needed Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 1 Saturday morning shift each month.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
- 1 years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
- Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
- Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Impromed, preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
- Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
- Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
- Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
