What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist position at Airport Animal Clinic?
Busy small-animal veterinarian's office seeking individual to join a cross-trained team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Restraint of patient (Cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments)
- Assisting with examinations
- Preparing samples for examination
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking in clients
- Invoicing clients
- Charting
- Filling prescriptions
- Cleaning kennels and rooms
We are looking for candidates interested in working
- Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings from 08:00AM to 01:00PM
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 01:00PM to 05:30PM
- Occasional Saturdays from 08:00AM to 11:30AM
- Full days on Monday and Friday (08:00AM to 05:30PM) also appreciated
Previous experience appreciated, but not required. We offer training on the job.
