After School Care Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and caring After School Care Provider to support children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children. This role involves supervising children after school hours, facilitating activities, and ensuring their well-being through attentive care and guidance. Experience in early childhood education, childcare, tutoring, or related fields is highly valued. Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children during after-school hours in a structured environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, socialization, and fun
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques
• Assist with homework help and tutoring to support academic progress
• Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies
• Foster a supportive environment that respects individual needs and encourages personal growth
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, babysitting, tutoring, or teaching is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to engage children through sports coaching, theater activities, or other extracurricular programs is beneficial
• Strong background in childcare, childhood development, or related fields will support success in this role
