Airoom Architects, Builders & Remodelers luxury home division, Michael Bennett Homes, a premier design/build company, is seeking a full time local Senior Construction Manager / General Superintendent to manage luxury homes and design build remodeling projects in the Aspen, Colorado area.
Candidates must have 15 years experience in construction , management and supervision, from site work to completion of luxury residential projects. Candidates must have experience and ability to bid, hire , maintain and coordinate all construction processes in Aspen , Colorado and update our Chicago office team using company project management software and systems.
Candidates will have deep and established local sub contractor and supplier relationships in the Roaring Fork Valley , strong work ethic and drive with proven leadership skills needed to run local projects.
The ideal candidates have prior hands on skills and very strong backgrounds in concrete foundations and site work, rough framing and layout , reading of architectural drawings & details, and ability to maintain scheduling and communications with all stake holders.
Ideal candidates will have a 2 year to 4 year degree in construction management, or engineering degree.
Candidates must excel in on site construction management, and will integrate with our in house architects , purchasing dept., production management and accounting team.
Our current project is a design / build luxury 11,000 ft. luxury home along with a slow but sustainable company growth plan in the valley over the next 5 years.

SALARY $210, 000
Responsibilities:
- Manage the bidding, selection and hiring process of all contractors & subcontractors
- Review all construction drawings, shop drawings and value engineer as needed with our in house architecture company and purchasing estimating departments.
- Schedule, supervise and manage all construction trades, inspections, supplier deliveries and storage.
- Inspect construction work in place against approved plans, specifications and codes for proper workmanship and compliance.
- Perform tasks on jobsites as needed.
- Review projects before construction to confirm accuracy of proposals and materials orders.
- Review and approve invoices and billing against approved contracts and work scopes for accuracy and % of completion payouts through the home office.
- Document jobsite details and report on progress daily using company on line app.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information, files ,schedules , inspections, deliveries, and communications with all subs , vendors and home office.
- Communicate with company senior management , co-workers, and office personnel as needed.
- maintain all safety standards, a clean job site , and proper corporate image.
Hours and Location:
- Full time position requiring the hours needed to meet the companies goals and expectations.
- Generally 40 to 45 hours a week
- Work is in and around the Aspen area.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
$210,000 plus bonuses and full company benefits including health insurance, paid vacations, 401k with match, dental insurance, disability insurance, vision insurance.
