What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Mechanic (Forklift Experience Required) position at Airline Salvage Metals LLC?
We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a strong background in forklifts and heavy equipment to help keep our operation running smoothly.
This role is flexible to start — we’re open to the right setup depending on availability and skill level.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Diesel forklifts (primary focus)
- Scrap yard equipment & machinery
- Routine maintenance and repairs
- Hydraulics, electrical, and engine diagnostics
Requirements:
- Proven experience working on diesel forklifts (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Able to work independently without constant direction
- Reliable and consistent
- Experience in industrial or scrap yard settings is a plus

Pay:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
