Local Delivery Driver (CDL A)

Location:

• Annual Pay: $90-$120K/ yr on average (Pay is based on the location traveling to)
• Schedule: We are looking for flexibility across a variety of schedules. Overnight travel is part of the role; otherwise, we strive to ensure our drivers get HOME DAILY.
• Equipment used: Tractor-trailer with Tank, Flatbeds and Dry Vans
• While driving Bulk gases hauled: Liquid Oxygen, Liquid Nitrogen, Liquid Co2, etc.
• While driving Flatbed: The cylinders have various gases.
• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet supported by driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, and the latest camera technology.

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements

• Mechanical aptitude to fix things on the truck (Example: Air lines, plug tires, etc)

• Must have be able to and willing to drive a manual transmission

• Maintain Alaska driver's license, medical card & endorsements

• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years

• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years

• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment

• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

• Must have 2 years of verifiable CDL A driving experience in the last 5 years.

• 2 years of Tanker experience
