As a Representative and Champion for Airgas, the Service & Delivery Professional takes pride in the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck, you will coordinate the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with the customers you visit. As a Service & Delivery Professional at Airgas, you will be part of a supportive professional team that encourages your personal growth and internal mobility, while ensuring you have the work/life balance you need to thrive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Cultivating sales opportunities for industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment. This includes nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Customer Support: Supporting customers via email, telephone, and in-person walk-ins. I also provide collaborative guidance on equipment usage and material requirements.
- Operations & Logistics: Coordinating the loading and unloading of cylinders, operating forklifts, and serving as a backup driver when necessary.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining proper hardgoods and cylinder levels to ensure seamless supply continuity.
- Administrative & Financial: Fostering understanding and building alignment on outstanding accounts, including collecting payments. I also ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, including coding, costing, and pricing.

Must be 21 years of age
HazMat Required
Must have one year of Class A or B CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or have graduated from an accredited driving school.
Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement. Hazmat can be obtained post-offer.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Current Medical Examiner's Card.
Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending is also required.
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary.
