In this role, your primary responsibility will be to safely fill cylinders with mixed gasses in accordance with regulatory requirements. You'll also assist with pure gas filling and the preparation of Device and Spec Gas mixes. Additionally, you may handle liquid gas tanks, always ensuring alignment with OSHA, FDA, DOT, ISO, and Airgas regulations and policies. Safety will be a top priority, as you'll follow Airgas SOPs during the loading and unloading of cylinder gasses. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will contribute to nurturing a safe and effective lab environment.
Ideally, you bring experience in a Gas Lab Filler or Lab Technician role, showing a strong sense of purpose and excellent contributions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and collaborative approach to daily tasks.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to advance team goals.
Capability to manage tasks with autonomy and navigate priorities effectively.

Previous Cylinder Gas Lab Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
