Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Carefully pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper protection and labeling according to company standards
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and fulfillment using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems to locate products accurately
- Conduct quality control checks on packed items to verify accuracy, completeness, and condition before shipping
- Manage shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with carriers, updating inventory records, and documenting shipments in the warehouse management system
- Support stock replenishment by stocking shelves efficiently and maintaining organized storage areas
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, ensure safety protocols are followed, and improve overall distribution efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, or distribution centers
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively
- Mechanical knowledge related to packaging machinery or handling equipment is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or team coordination is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control and accuracy in order fulfillment
