What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Technician position at Aire Serv of Southeast Orlando?
- Performs diversified installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair duties involving heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration and related control systems throughout the facility.
- Receives work orders and coordinates work to fit daily schedule assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains the facility HVAC control systems according to state and local facility regulatory agencies.
- Works with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
- Responsible for daily heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration work performed within the department.
- Makes daily rounds of building and related equipment as assigned by supervisor.
- Reports any complication on specific jobs or equipment to Supervisor. Responds to emergency situations throughout the facility.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma required. Specialized (1 year of training beyond high school) required.
- Minimum of five (3) years’ experience required.
- Universal Recovery License required.
- Basic knowledge of the u se tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
