Sales & Home Comfort Advisor

Are you a confident, personable salesperson who enjoys building relationships, helping customers, and creating new opportunities?

Aire Serv of Central Illinois is hiring a full-time Sales & Home Comfort Advisor. This is a hybrid sales and business-development position designed for someone who wants to grow into a primarily in-home HVAC sales role.

You will receive a dependable base salary while learning our business, developing customer relationships, generating new opportunities, and handling qualified in-home sales appointments. As our lead volume grows and you complete your training, the position will transition toward more in-home consultations and increased commission-based earning opportunities.

This is not a temporary position or a commission-only job. It is a full-time sales career with a locally owned, established home-service company.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with occasional evening or Saturday appointments based on customer needs.

What You’ll Do

Customer Follow-Up and Business Development

• Follow up with customers who have outstanding estimates or previously expressed interest in our services

• Reconnect with past customers and help identify current HVAC or indoor-air-quality needs

• Contact qualified prospects through phone, email, text, and other approved channels

• Build relationships with homeowners rather than relying on scripted cold calling

• Help develop referral, community, and local partnership opportunities

• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in ServiceTitan

In-Home Sales and Training

• Train alongside our experienced Home Comfort Designer

• Learn how to evaluate homeowners’ comfort concerns and recommend appropriate solutions

• Assist with sales follow-up, proposals, financing options, and customer questions

• Run qualified in-home sales appointments as training progresses

• Provide clear options without using high-pressure sales tactics

• Follow up with homeowners after appointments and help move open opportunities forward

Sales Growth

• Help create new opportunities rather than depending exclusively on company-provided leads

• Develop relationships with current maintenance-plan customers

• Support seasonal promotions and customer-retention campaigns

• Track follow-up activity, appointments, sales, and self-generated leads

• Gradually transition into a larger in-home sales role as lead volume and performance grow

What We’re Looking For

• Previous sales, customer-service, account-management, or business-development experience

• A friendly, confident, and professional communication style

• Strong follow-up skills and the ability to build trust with customers

• A self-motivated person who can create opportunities as well as work company-provided leads

• Comfort speaking with customers by phone and in their homes

• Basic computer and CRM skills

• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Previous HVAC, plumbing, construction, automotive, real-estate, insurance, or other consultative sales experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary of $40,000–$50,000, depending on experience

• Commission on qualifying sales
