Restaurant Server

Job Description

Aire Restaurant & Catering is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to provide attentive service and support daily restaurant and catering operations. This role involves welcoming guests, explaining menu options, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and helping maintain clean and organized dining and service areas. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant and event-service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Present menus and answer questions about food, beverages, and available options.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are delivered correctly.
• Check on guests throughout their dining experience and respond to service needs.
• Assist with catering events, including setting up and serving food when assigned.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, hosts, and other servers to maintain smooth service.
• Process payments and handle guest checks according to restaurant procedures.
• Keep tables, dining areas, and service stations clean and organized.
• Reset tables and restock napkins, utensils, glassware, and other supplies.
• Address routine guest concerns professionally and notify management when needed.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and other daily restaurant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, server, catering, hospitality, or customer-service experience is helpful.
• Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to guests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and organized.
• Good attention to order accuracy and guest needs.
• Able to manage multiple tasks during busy service periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant or event environment.
• Willingness to learn menu items and service procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
