What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Aire Home Care LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to individuals with disabilities or support to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, showering etc.
- Implement behavior support plans and strategies as directed by supervisor
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities and promote independence
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to supervisor
- Follow all agency policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers using proper lifting techniques
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
- Familiarity with an app to clock in and out on as well as emails
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
