Aircraft Spruce and Specialty has been in business since 1965 and is the largest distributor of small aircraft parts in the US. You will be supporting our 8 distributions centers located across North America.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, maintain proper inventory by placing orders in a timely fashion.
- Order inventory from vendors/suppliers and secure shipping arrival times.
- Update parts pricing as needed based on vendor price sheets.
- Manage parts and product descriptions in ERP system to ensure effective and accurate information for customers and warehouse management.
- Work closely with vendors/supplies to ensure purchase orders and back orders are effectively managed to minimize supply chain issues.
- Buy product by evaluating forecasted needs while considering total cost including freight.
- Build partnerships and work closely with assigned vendors to obtain optimum results for the account.
- Work with warehouse to ensure accurate delivery of the timely restocking of parts/supplies for distribution to customers.
- Work with accounting and vendors to troubleshoot any deviations for purchase orders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
- Manager may assign additional responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Some College Coursework in Supply Chain Management or minimum two years in purchasing, bookkeeping, or accounting position.
- Excellent verbal and written English business communication skills; Able to communicate as well with the written word as with the spoken. Additional languages a plus!
- Good mathematical and analytical skills including cost analysis.
- Ability to comprehend accounting processes, office management, and purchasing procedures including practices, methods and terminology.
- Proven purchasing/reasoning skills related to small/large parts, OEM vendors as well as strategic logistics management.
- Outstanding organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks/projects; knows when to push back and/or ask for help.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office products including excellent skills with Outlook, Excel and Word.
