HeatShield Department (Temporary Seasonal Position)

Position Overview

At Aircraft Covers Inc., we manufacture and sell HeatShield custom-fit automotive sunshades designed to protect vehicle interiors from heat and UV damage. During our peak summer season, we are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our HeatShield team as a Seasonal Customer Service Assistant.

The Seasonal Customer Service Assistant provides support to the Customer Service team by responding to emails, answering incoming phone calls, assisting customers with general order inquiries, and contacting customers when their orders are ready for pickup. This position plays an important role in helping maintain prompt response times and delivering an excellent customer experience during our busiest time of year.

Position Responsibilities

• Respond to customer emails promptly, professionally, and accurately.
• Answer incoming customer phone calls and provide courteous, helpful assistance.
• Assist customers with general questions regarding products, pricing, shipping, and order status.
• Contact customers by phone to notify them when their HeatShield order is ready for pickup.
• Document customer communications and notes within the company systems.
• Verify customer information and order details for accuracy.
• Route customer concerns or complex issues to the appropriate team member when necessary.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude in all interactions.
• Assist with general office and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Required Qualifications & Expectations

• Previous customer service or administrative experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Bilingual skills preferred: English and Spanish).
• Friendly, professional, and courteous telephone and email etiquette.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with email, web browsers, word processing, and basic data entry.
• Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and verify customer information.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced office environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn company products, procedures, and customer service expectations.

• Full-Time or Part-Time (depending on business needs).

Benefits

This temporary seasonal position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits, except for those benefits required by applicable federal and state law.

Pay Scale - $21.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Shift Schedule - Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Full-Time Schedule).

Reports To - HeatShield Director and General Manager.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
