Job Summary:
The Production Control Specialist position maintains various production processes to organize schedules in conformity with the demand forecasts. This position is responsible for overseeing daily production schedules, executing clerical functions for production control, and facilitating the flow of information between departments and customers according to established production schedules.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with reviewing the back log of customer parts and assigning priorities.
- Identify any bottlenecks or delays in production and ensure resources are available to resolve delays.
- Monitor Outside Process orders and provide status updates.
- Prepare quotes and shipping documents.
- Respond to customer emails regarding status and shipping information.
- Review standard and special production schedules and work orders.
- Revise production schedules to address issues such as backlogs or design changes.
- Distribute production schedules to departments.
- Reviews project documents to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain records related to production data including quality control analytics.
- Coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve issues and delays through collaboration with staff and customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language, in accordance with the eligibility requirements of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 145.
- All maintenance and inspection-related positions are required to submit to pre-employment and random DOT drug and alcohol testing, in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 120.
Education and Experience:
- High school or equivalent, degree in supply chain or related field highly desired.
- At least 5 years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
