- Job Summary We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead and oversee our plumbing division. In this role, you'll manage a team of technicians, ensure high-quality service delivery, and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and people-oriented, with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the plumbing team, including scheduling, dispatching, and job completion.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate service delivery and resolve field issues.
- Monitor inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and cost control.
- Review project estimates, approve invoices, and manage departmental budgets.
- Implement and track KPIs to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.
- Maintain detailed job records and prepare reports for upper management.
- Stay current with industry trends, technology, and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade school or technical training preferred.
- Minimum of five years of plumbing experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Valid plumbing license as required by state or local regulations.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Proven ability to manage teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
