Position Summary
Responsible for designing, documenting, testing, controlling, and optimizing the operational processes and procedures within Airbus U.S. for the material management domain and the quality & integrity of business data (consistency of reliable, relevant, and usable data). Leads process excellence through continuous improvements projects and collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ERP modules and their integration with organizational processes.
Responsibilities
1. Management of Business Processes: 30%
- Contributing on value stream mapping activities to streamline cross functional business processes. Working with the SAP technical team to develop new processes or further automate existing ones.
- Contributing on continuous improvements projects. Supporting the process owners on the deployment or improvement of business processes.
- Resolving on a timely manner blocking points related to business processes and ensuring continuous flow of operations.
- Advise the process owners when the executed processes are not in line with the designed processes, quality policies and company standards. Record at the Business Processes and Master Data Jira the root causes and take corrective actions.
2. Process Control and Business data accuracy: 40%
- Monitoring and ensuring the accurate implementation of cross-functional business processes by executing process control methods.
- Reviewing master data accuracy, identify the root causes of discrepancies and take corrective and preventive actions.
- Reviewing the As-Designed, As-Planned and the As-Building, performing the ASB reconciliation when expected.
- Deliver accurate master data in a timely manner to process owners and internal customers including Finance and Configuration.
- Managing off nominal cases in FAL when requested by performing transactions in the background at SAP and SCADA systems.
3. Material Management and master data: 30%
- Leading the material creation process. Ensure that new materials are completed on time.
- Perform risk assessments and prepare data analytics reports according to the needs of the process owners.

Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Masters degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering
Technical Systems Proficiency:
Required:
- At least six years of experience with SAP ERP System. Strong knowledge of the Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) and Quality Management (QM) modules. Basic knowledge of the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM) SAP modules.
- Proficient in Excel with experience in creating automated reports.
- Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, and able to quickly master new computerized tools including Jira, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of process engineering, process simulations, and process related standards. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Visio.
Preferred:
- SAP Certification in Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
- Familiarity with the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Plant Maintenance (PM) SAP modules.
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum six years of experience in business process management in a manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of the business processes for the following domains: manufacturing & testing engineering, production planning, manufacturing & testing execution, quality management, procurement, logistics, material management.
- Experience in process control and data analytics.
Preferred:
- Experience in Aerospace industry will be considered a plus.
