Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Broadband Installation Technician to install and service high-speed internet connections for residential and small-business customers in the Lewiston area.
The ideal candidate is technically capable, communicates well with customers, and can complete installations safely and efficiently. Experience with fiber, cable, fixed wireless, or telecommunications equipment is preferred, but training may be available for a strong candidate with related technical experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, activate, test, and troubleshoot broadband internet service
- Run and terminate fiber, Ethernet, coaxial, or other service wiring
- Install routers, Wi-Fi equipment, ONTs, modems, and related hardware
- Verify signal quality, internet speed, Wi-Fi coverage, and service reliability
- Explain equipment and basic troubleshooting steps to customers
- Complete service documentation, photographs, and inventory records
- Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and assigned vehicle
- Follow safety procedures and protect customers’ homes and property
- Identify and report construction, network, or serviceability problems
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
Qualifications
- Broadband, fiber, cable, satellite, electrical, HVAC, security-system, or low-voltage experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather
- Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds and work in crawl spaces or other confined areas when required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
- Clear communication and basic mobile-device skills
- Ability to pass required background and drug screening
Preferred Experience
- Fiber-to-the-home installation
- Fiber splicing or connector installation
- ONT and residential Wi-Fi configuration
- Ethernet termination and structured cabling
- Signal, optical-power, or network testing
- Customer-premises equipment troubleshooting

Schedule
Technicians should be available for a full-time schedule. Tuesday through Saturday Schedule.
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
