General Manager
The General Manager role is critical to the trampoline park’s success. This position includes a variety of duties such as opening and closing the park, cash management, customer service, sales, and coaching the team to achieve target goals.
The General Manager works directly with guests, providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance while enforcing Airborne’s safety regulations. This role also helps train staff and serves as the first-line supervisor.
The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the park is a safe and fun environment by conducting park walks, supporting the team, interacting with guests, and observing and resolving issues with courts and system operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide a positive guest experience through strong operations and customer service; respond to guest concerns promptly and courteously
- Foster a welcoming and supportive work environment for the team
- Plan and develop a profitable operation through cost analysis and inventory control
- Maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales goals; drive membership participation and café sales
- Support marketing initiatives through proactive planning and execution
- Manage cash handling, POS operations, group sales, deposits, and cash reports
- Coordinate birthday parties and special events; serve as the point of contact for community outreach
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure a safe and clean environment by identifying and reducing potential hazards
- Manage payroll and schedule Flight Crew members to meet business needs and labor efficiency goals
- Serve as Manager on Duty; open and close the park and train staff on roles and responsibilities
- Maintain a positive presence within the local community
- Oversee daily facility operations to uphold standards, manage staff, and deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
- 3 years of management experience in retail or 1 year of management experience in a related industry (trampoline/entertainment)
- Some college preferred
- Strong customer service experience
- Experience with employee scheduling and cash handling
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Outgoing, energetic, and friendly personality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Ability to remain calm in stressful or challenging situations
- Hardworking, responsible, assertive, and self-confident
- Ability to perform routine inspections and maintain maintenance logs
