What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Production Developer (contract) position at Airbnb?
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two Hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 4 million Hosts who have welcomed more than 1 billion guest arrivals in more than 100, 000 cities and towns located in 220 countries and regions across the globe. The Global Policy Strategy: Engagement & Infrastructure team oversees the tooling, outbound comms production, CRM, and analytics infrastructure that supports Airbnb's Policy department. We are a robust team of technical experts focused on driving measurable and scalable engagement campaigns. We also collaborate with teams throughout the company to ensure our collective work creates an increasingly personalized and meaningful experience for those we communicate with.
The Production Developer is an experienced, hands-on technical marketer who owns campaign execution end to end. This role brings advanced expertise across our marketing automation stack and operates with a high level of autonomy. Applying critical thinking and problem-solving to navigate ambiguous requests, adapt to evolving stakeholder needs, and find the right path forward rather than waiting for a defined process.
