Duties
- Coordinate and manage freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth transportation operations.
- Oversee regulatory reporting related to transportation activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal obligations.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify potential disruptions or safety hazards within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage fleet operations and transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize routes, monitor delivery statuses, and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits across logistics activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on freight performance, compliance status, and risk assessments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
