Duties

• Coordinate and manage freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and OSHA standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth transportation operations.
• Oversee regulatory reporting related to transportation activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal obligations.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential disruptions or safety hazards within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage fleet operations and transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize routes, monitor delivery statuses, and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits across logistics activities.
• Prepare detailed reports on freight performance, compliance status, and risk assessments to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

• Deep understanding of logistics operations, freight management, and transportation systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and OSHA compliance management practices.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations applicable to supply chain activities involving regulated products.
• Strong skills in regulatory reporting, report writing, and documentation accuracy.
• Expertise in supply chain coordination, fleet management, and transportation planning.
• Ability to analyze risks within logistics processes and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
