Air with Flair Decor is a growing event decor company specializing in custom balloon installations, backdrops, and event styling for corporate events, milestone celebrations, and special occasions throughout the Raleigh area.
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, hands-on Studio & Production Assistant to join our team.
This role combines behind-the-scenes studio production with on-site event installations. From preparing custom décor in our studio to setting up at beautiful venues across the Triangle, you'll be part of the process that brings our clients' events to life.
What You'll Do
- Inflate, size, and assemble balloons for installations
- Prepare balloon garlands, columns, and specialty decor
- Cut, weed, and apply vinyl decals and signage
- Prep, paint, and organize backdrops and event materials
- Pull inventory and prepare supplies for upcoming events
- Load and unload equipment, decor, and rental items
- Travel to event venues to assist with installations, setups, and breakdowns
- Assist with assembling backdrops, balloon installations, and event rental setups
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient studio
- Follow production schedules and meet event deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions, take initiative, and problem-solve
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting 30 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a large company van
- Flexible availability for occasional evenings and weekends
- Professional and courteous when working at client venues
Previous balloon decor experience is not required. Paid training is provided.
Schedule & Location
- Part-time, approximately 15 hours per week to start
- Primarily Wednesday–Fridays daytime
- Additional evenings and weekends based on event schedules
- Studio located in Raleigh, NC, with on-site installations throughout the Triangle
