Air Time Wireless is an AT&T Authorized Retailer throughout the Southwest Florida area. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to lead and oversee the operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience, and a comprehensive understanding of retail, sales, and administrative functions. This role requires strategic planning, team management, and excellent communication abilities to ensure the achievement of organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet organizational objectives
- Oversee daily operations across departments including retail management, sales, marketing, and administrative functions
- Lead, mentor, and supervise management teams to ensure high performance and professional development
- Coordinate recruitment efforts including interviewing and onboarding new employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies, merchandising, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Drive customer service excellence through effective team management and operational oversight
- Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement
- Foster a positive organizational culture emphasizing teamwork, communication skills, and leadership development
- Monitor inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce shrinkage
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, marketing, and sales management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and training & development programs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to facilitate communication within diverse teams or customer bases
- Exceptional communication skills along with phone etiquette and customer service expertise are essential for success in this role
