HVAC Installation Supervisor – Working Lead

Air Temp Solutions is looking for an experienced HVAC Installation Supervisor / Lead Installer to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on position. We are looking for an experienced HVAC installer who can lead a crew and is still comfortable installing equipment in the field. This is NOT a desk-only supervisor position.

Compensation

$80,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise residential HVAC installation crews in the field.
• Install and oversee the installation of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and related HVAC equipment.
• Ensure installations are completed correctly, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper operation.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and help crews find effective solutions.
• Train, coach, and mentor installers to improve their skills and workmanship.
• Coordinate installation jobs with the office, warehouse, and customers.
• Make sure crews have the equipment, materials, and information needed to complete each job.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide an excellent customer experience.
• Help identify opportunities to improve installation efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Hold installers accountable for quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism.

What We're Looking For

The most important requirement is strong residential HVAC installation experience.

• 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience required.
• Previous experience as a Lead Installer, Foreman, Installation Supervisor, or similar leadership role is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to personally perform HVAC installations, not just supervise crews.
• Strong knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductwork, refrigerant piping, electrical connections, and ventilation.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand installation requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Dependable, organized, and professional.
• Ability to work independently while also leading a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, basements, and various weather conditions.
