Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provides second level technical support to end-users, dealers, distributors and sales representatives with a focus on software integration, installation and use; as well as focus on network analysis and setup in so far as Air Techniques products are concerned.
- Will focus on installation and integration of Air Techniques software as well as 3rd party software.
- Will assist customers with network configuration to allow the successful use of ATI software and hardware.
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting via telephone, email and remote control for customer accounts in a timely fashion to identify causes of problems and provide solutions to customers and sales.
- Supplement the Digital Tier 2 queue as necessary.
- The ability to simplify and explain technical information to others
- Up-to-date knowledge of hardware, software and programming – particularly relating to that used by the company
- Ability to handle high call volume and correspondence; multitask and escalate to Tier 3 as needed.
- Follow up on open service inquiries to ensure that customers received solution and are satisfied with solution. Respond to and resolve complaints and concerns.
- Familiar with standard concepts, policies, practices, and procedures within Air Technique’s organization. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Determine the requirement for parts to be replaced, provide return authorizations and communicate shipping requirements and arrangements to customers as required.
- * Prepare required internal documentation.
- Work closely and symbiotically with the ATI Imaging Sales Specialist.
- Develop technical Q&A for solutions related to Air Techniques products.
- Proper case entry documentation into our CRM system as it pertains to incoming call complaints.
- Can travel out of country for new product training as well as supplemental training.
- Assist other departments when the need arises.
- Continue to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
Work Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years call center experience in a technical support role.
- Dental or similar technical troubleshooting experience preferred.
Core Skills Requirements:
- Imaging/PC experience required.
- A thorough understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP and networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls is required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality is a must.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent phone and customer service skills required.
Education Requirements:
- AS Degree, Technical School-Engineering degree or equivalent level of business experience.
