Entry Level Assistant to Project Manager/Engineer

Job Summary:

Currently seeking individuals for a full-time position as a Project Management/Mechanical Engineering Assistant located in the Carson, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and coordinating schedules to complete projects within budget and time constraints
• Work closely with Project Manager/vendors on ordering, expediting, and tracking of materials.
• Support Project Manager for day to day tasks
• Effective at working with other staff members in a fast-paced environment
• Resolution of project issues and problems in a timely fashion
• Preparation of project submittal and closeout packages
• Management of incoming construction documents
• Excellent oral and written communication and organized skills

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
• Desire to learn and grow within the HVAC industry
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Ability to read mechanical construction drawings
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Sage Timberline, Laserfische,
• Three (3) Plus Years of experience with estimating, project administration, project scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control, and material procurement preferred.
