Job Summary:
Currently seeking individuals for a full-time position as a Project Management/Mechanical Engineering Assistant located in the Carson, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and coordinating schedules to complete projects within budget and time constraints
- Work closely with Project Manager/vendors on ordering, expediting, and tracking of materials.
- Support Project Manager for day to day tasks
- Effective at working with other staff members in a fast-paced environment
- Resolution of project issues and problems in a timely fashion
- Preparation of project submittal and closeout packages
- Management of incoming construction documents
- Excellent oral and written communication and organized skills
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
- Desire to learn and grow within the HVAC industry
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Ability to read mechanical construction drawings
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Sage Timberline, Laserfische,
- Three (3) Plus Years of experience with estimating, project administration, project scheduling, productivity analysis, project cost control, and material procurement preferred.
