Position Overview
Air Tahiti Nui is seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Marketing, Americas to lead all marketing and brand activities in the region. This position is ideal for a results-driven marketing professional with strong digital expertise, proven Marketing skills, and leadership experience who is ready to lead regional marketing initiatives and drive business growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing regional marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and direct sales growth. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales, Revenue Management, and Head Office Marketing teams, as well as key external partners, including tourism boards, PR and advertising agencies, and travel industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning
- Develop and oversee the annual marketing strategy for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with Air
- Tahiti Nui’s global objectives and brand standards.
- Define key marketing priorities to achieve annual revenue goals.
- Develop and manage the regional marketing budget. Approve marketing expenditure and regional marketing initiatives within established authority levels.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in marketing strategy, campaign development, vendor selection, and resource allocation.
Digital and e-Commerce
- Drive direct sales performance via the Air Tahiti Nui website, internet booking engine, and call center.
- Lead initiatives to increase online traffic, conversion, and revenue across digital channels.
- Manage relationships with OTAs and metasearch partners, ensuring optimal visibility, ROI, and alignment with pricing and promotional strategies.
Advertising, Public Relations, and Social Media
- Oversee the planning and execution of regional advertising, PR, and promotional campaigns across all media platforms.
- Provide direction to advertising and PR agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign effectiveness.
- Supervise regional social media strategy and content to strengthen brand engagement and awareness.
Partnerships and Collaboration
- Act as liaison with Sales Directors, Pricing Supervisor, Airport Managers, and the Head Office Marketing Department to ensure coordinated regional initiatives.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key partners, including Tahiti Tourisme North America, hotels, and tourism industry stakeholders.
Team Leadership
- Directly supervise marketing personnel, including assigning work, evaluating performance, coaching, and making recommendations regarding hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development within the marketing team.
- Oversee the implementation of marketing plans, ensuring timely and effective execution of all projects.
Analytics and Performance Tracking
- Monitor marketing performance across channels, analyze results, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.
- Recommend data-driven adjustments to improve efficiency and return on investment.
Other Responsibilities
Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of Air Tahiti Nui’s commercial and branding objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Proven track record in digital marketing, e-commerce, and management of OTA and metasearch partnerships.
- Strong understanding of online marketing channels, social media, and performance analytics.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience within the airline, travel, or tourism industry strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Salary: starting at $75K plus eligibility for a Short-Term Incentive (STI) program, based on experience, qualifications
