Requirements:
Air Specialty & Equipment is seeking a temporary Shop Hand to join the team at their Houston, TX branch! This position is intended to be a 12-week assignment. There will be potential for the assignment to extend or become full-time for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Houston area (shop is located in Deer Park, TX). This role will provide exposure to various roles within the shop. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic that is willing to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Wash Rack (Cleaning Units, Hoses Etc.)
- Housekeeping (Custodial work in shop/ shop organization)
- Yard/Facility Maintenance
- Assist with minor shop repairs
- Assist with Equipment PM's when needed
- Assist technicians in shop with major rebuilds, fabrications, etc.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a general laborer or shop hand preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctual
- Team player mentality
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities over time
