Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Installer/Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning and related mechanical components according to schematics and design specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems to ensure peak performance
- Conduct repairs on HVAC equipment, using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents for accurate installation and servicing
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and field service techniques; perform equipment repair with precision
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and general building operations
- Operate a
driver or similar vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts to job sites - Handle ammonia refrigeration systems with proper safety procedures and technical knowledge
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC/R systems or appliance repair
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or as a service technician within the mechanical or property maintenance fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
- Experience working with refrigeration and welding techniques is highly desirable
- Field service experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R units or appliances is preferred
- Valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation of tools and equipment - Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to perform electrical diagnostics confidently
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments while maintaining safety standards
