What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate / Order Picker position at Air Sea Containers?
Primary Duties
Loading and unloading trucks and containers
Picking and preparing orders for shipment according to protocols
Measuring and weighing packaged shipments accurately
Count, investigate for damages, and organize incoming products
Organize, sort, count, wrap incoming inventory for efficient storage
Routine facilities maintenance: sweeping, cleaning work space and equipment
Use pallet jack to move products
Physical demands
Regularly lift and/or move objects 5-50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move objects over 100lbs - with assistance
Comfortable with rolling ladder for order picking
Required Skills
Must be reliable and dependable
Must read and understand English well
Must be a team player
Must be able to follow instructions
Must be very attention to detail with counting inventory and orders
Must be able to identify and differentiate complex skus on pick orders
Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment
Must be able to use measuring tape accurately
Must be able to use simple weight scale
Must be able to record accurate weight and dimensions of shipments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
