As a Materials Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring materials and parts flow efficiently to support operations:
- Pick and prepare parts accurately for shipment
- Process material reservations and Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) in SAP
- Monitor shared inbox for urgent and priority requests
- Coordinate same-day and emergency shipments
- Receive, label, and accurately stock material
- Support Shipping & Receiving operations (cross-trained role)
- Operate material handling equipment safely
- Maintain readiness to support critical needs, including on-call rotation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–5 years of material handling or logistics experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- SAP experience is a plus
- Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
Location & Work Environment
- Located within convenient commuting distance of downtown Pittsburgh
- On-call rotation required once fully independent
