What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC-R Installer / Technician position at Air Mechanix?
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) installer/ technician wanted to:
- Install HVAC related equipment following the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Wire both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.
- Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
- Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings.
- Secure gas lines to heating equipment connection.
- Pre-measure jobs to determine the right materials needed for installation.
- Confirm and receive all materials and equipment required for each job, load them into company vehicle.
- Support other team members when necessary to complete tasks on time as instructed by management.
- Maintain cordial and collaborative work relationships with both superiors and co-workers.
- Maintain customer relations.
