What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Billing Coordinator position at Air Mechanical Inc.?
The Service Billing Coordinator position is responsible for service billing, membership billing and updates, rebates, and resolving customer billing issues and reducing Collection delinquencies and filing rebates. This is an onsite role with a Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm schedule.
Essential Functions:
- Review service invoices daily
- Identify issues and resolve within 2 days max
- Synch completed batches daily to the accounting software
- Review memberships billing and resolve issues
- Dismiss deferred revenue at month end
- Apply receivable to service accounts
- Process refund invoices
- Complete interbilling at month end
- Follow up on failed credit card transactions
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations
- Identify issues attributing to accounts' delinquency and discuss them with management
- Record warranty invoices for Climate Shield or P3 Guaranty
- Submit Rebates with Energy Companies
- Submit Bryant/Wells Fargo Rebates
- Submit Completed deadlines within a requested timeframe
- Assisting with other departmental functions as assigned
- Work cooperatively to adhere to company guidelines and policies
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Attention to detail is critical
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop this role
- High level of proficiency in Excel and MS Office
- Service-Titan Software knowledge highly desired
- Intacct Software knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of standard accounting principles
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Adapt at time management and finite deadlines
- Ability to work independently and think strategically
- Authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
This position requires interaction with people in an office environment. Work requires sitting, handling/grasping, and repetitive motions for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate over the phone, over email, and in person.
